Best Western Hotel Luxor in Turin city center is a modern hotel near the bus to the Royal Venaria: just 100 meters from our 4-star hotel you find the Terminal called "Venaria Express" for the Royal Venaria. GTT has set up a special shuttle service linking the historic center of Turin with the Reggia of Venaria in about 40 minutes. 

In Turin, the "Venaria Express" bus starts at the terminus in Corso Stati Uniti, corner Corso Re Umberto, and stops along the route: via Sacchi (Porta Nuova Station); via XX Settembre corner via Bertola; square XVIII December (Porta Susa station); via Stradella corner Corso Grosseto and in the street Altessano corner via Druento (near the Stadium of the Alps). The ticket can be purchased on board the bus; cost 3 € one way, 5 € roundtrip. The service is active from Tuesday to Sunday.

 

The extraordinary uniqueness of Venaria Reale

The Royal Palace represents one of the highest expressions of European Baroque: the splendid scenery of the Salon of Diana, the solemnity of the Grande Galleria and the Chapel of Sant'Uberto, with the immense complex of Stables, eighteenth-century works by Filippo Juvarra, the splendid decorations with the suggestive setting on the court life of Peter Greenaway, are the ideal setting for the Theater of History and Magnificence, the exhibition trail dedicated to the Savoy, which accompanies the public for about a mile and a half. A place of cultural leisure, therefore, that gives its visitors the emotions of art, history and architecture, immersed in an enchanting landscape.

The Royal Gardens are a close connection between ancient and modern, archaeological settlements and contemporary works: the 17th-century caves, the Fontana dell'Ercole, the remains of the Temple of Diana and Peschiera Grande, the Gran Parterre, the Allees, Garden of Flowers and Pergolas... There are no similarities with other Italian historical gardens, for the magnificence of the perspectives and the vastness of the natural landscape, surrounded by the forests of the La Mandria Park and the Alps.
